Perman (also known as Parman or Paa-man in japanese) was a manga created by the famous duo Fujiko Fujio (who even created the popular Doaremon).
Because of it's popularity this series was later made for television by Studio Zero and Tokio Movie in 1967. 55 black and white episodes were produced in Japan between 2/4/67-14/4/68 and became a huge hit show in Japan. This anime was later shown in the middle 70's in several countries in South America together with , Gigantor, Space Ace, Princess Knight, The Amazing Three etc. It was also showed in Italy. It never made it to the U.S. or Australia.
