Max Factory is going to release the figma Izayoi Sakuya ( 十六夜咲夜 ) from the doujin danmaku shooting game series “Touhou Project” ( 東方プロジェクト ) by the circle Team Shanghai Alice ( 上海アリス幻樂団 ). Will be released in August September 2010. Around 135mm tall, 2,667 yen.
Izayoi is the fifth stage's boss in the Touhou project shooting games. The silver haired maid is arguably the most mysterious of all the characters. Nobody know why a human being is living in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, or how she earned the affections of her mistress to elevate her to the position of head maid.
She uses her power to stop time to get her chores done and do her attacks. She places her knives in midair so whenever she activates time again, the knives will pierce into her enemies. The figma figure comes with both the broom and the knives, so you can recreate her home keeping scenes and her fight scenes. Besides the six knives she usually carries around, there is a seven knife hidden in the sheath strapped to her thigh. Whip it out when things get desperate.
