Following the trend of popular series like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu and Lucky Star, K-On! is starting to recieve the massive figure production treatment. Yui and Mio 1/8 scale by Alter
There has been some discussion at dc.com about the quality of Alter’s Mio and Yui, majority — even Danny Choo himself, stated that Yui looks much more in character than Mio, and I do agree with that. Mio doesn’t look bad, but she doesn’t look great either.

have attracted the attention of the figure makers in Alter and is now having her figure made. The dark hair tsundere is in the middle of performing a happy song. Look at the sense of motion this figure portrays, from the bouncing hair to the the slightly lifted skirt.

K-ON! 1/8 Scale Pre-Painted PVC Figure: Hirasawa Yui (Alter Version)
K-On! Girls are skipping onto stage one by one. Following the lyricist Akiyama Mio is the leader of the band Hirazawa Yui. With hair flying and skirt swirling, she is captured in a half jump. The figure exudes the sunny cheerfulness that characterizes Yui.

The package comes with her performance partner, Mr. Guitar. Every grain in the wood are painted to perfection, just like the rest of the figure.
